Coming to us with over 5 years recruitment and sales experience, Cassandra (Cass) has joined the team at QAR as a Consultant working alongside Danny and Wendy to continue supporting our clients. Cass loves engaging with candidates, and has a passion for ensuring she is able to place her candidates into roles where they will be happy for a long time!

Cass has recently moved to Brisbane from Townsville, she has also lived in Melbourne (although she now supports The Broncos).

Cass will have a focus on quality assurance, new product development and sales.

Wendy Terry

Principal Consultant

After having worked in FMCG recruitment for the past 15 years, and assisting to develop the recruitment platform for some of Australia and New Zealand’s leading FMCG organisations, Wendy decided to launch Quality Assured Recruitment in 2016, a specialist FMCG recruitment consultancy across Australia and New Zealand.

Having worked in both New Zealand and Australia, and with multiple industry qualifications including; Diploma in Management, Certificate in Public Relations and Communications, Principles and Applications of HACCP, VITAL 2.0, and knowledge of retailer and GFSI standards including; HACCP, GMP, WQA, BRC, SQF and Coles to name a few, Wendy has an extensive network of clients and candidates across FMCG.

Wendy will primarily be specialising in Food Manufacturing and Pharmaceutical – all from a technical and operational perspective, and will be looking after the QAR business from a resources and day to day management perspective.

Danny Boyle

Senior Consultant

With a Bachelor of Agricultural Science majoring in Management and Marketing, Diploma in Teaching and various training qualifications, Danny has over thirty years’ experience in sales and marketing, training and finance roles within New Zealand and internationally.

His work has seen him develop industry training programs in supervision and management for hospital boards, the wider meat industry and airlines, in addition to recruitment programs and sourcing strategies.

In FMCG, Danny has established a strong network of professionals with whom he can utilise both from an information and candidate referral perspective.

Danny will primarily be specialising in recruiting and consulting into roles covering agriculture, marketing, sales, finance and accounting. For QAR, he is also responsible for marketing, communications and financials.

Penny Baker

Candidate & Administration Manager

With over eight years’ recruitment experience, Penny has worked across multiple technical sectors. In addition to being an excellent recruiter, she has also worked in senior administration, training, facilitation and office support roles for the past fifteen years.

Having previously worked for one of the world’s largest recruitment organisations, Penny is a true professional when it comes to the complete end to end lifecycle of recruitment, and has an excellent reputation to match.

Penny currently works in a facilitation and management role for one of New Zealand’s largest publically owned enterprises, in addition to working with the QAR business on a part time basis, from a candidate management and administration perspective.
